I’ve noticed that Abby (my friend, not my daughter) and Tin have been joining “That’s my answer.” I’m following suit. ;) But I’ll probably just participate whenever I can tie the question/answer to the overall theme of this site, like today…
You are at Starbucks. What is your order?
I will definitely order a tall Cafe Mocha for hubby and me and a Strawberry Cream Frap for my daughter, Abby. It’s a thousand calories but she doesn’t finish it anyway. Bottom line is, she likes it and it keeps her preoccupied for a few minutes.

Swimsuit Season
Yes, swimsuit season has arrived. I’m not really all that excited as I’m not swimsuit worthy, at least, not just yet. If only I’d find that old discipline I used to have to healthy eating and exercise. One thing’s for sure though, diet pills won’t cut it for me. They probably work for some people but I simply like to do it the hard, old-fashioned way. It’s safer and more rewarding, too. *sigh* It looks like I’ll be waiting for the next swimsuit season…yet again.

Wishing for a Laptop
The title isn’t too subtle, is it? After a year of using a hand-me-down laptop, I’ve moved on to a desktop for practical reasons. The laptop I’ve been using all this time has gotten too slow and can’t keep up with me anymore. I still use it as back up though and I will still prefer a laptop over a desktop anytime. Once I’ve saved enough for a new one, a large-capacity laptop memory will definitely be a must. And to have it inside a MacAir will be just sweet.

Let There Be Light
We were running a little late dropping Abby off in school this morning. Fortunately, we made it on time. On my way out, I bumped into one of Abby’s classmates, Olivia, and her mom, Taylor, as they were rushing to enter the school building. Taylor signalled me to wait for her.
The very moment Taylor came out of the door after walking Olivia to the classroom, she started ranting about the power outage in their area. It happened 3 times last night, which is why they were late coming to school today. And then she started raving about her hid flashlights, which she bought online from Magna Light. She asked me to check it out if I didn’t have flashlights as power outtages can be such a pain.
So, I did check out Magna Light and was surprised to see that it’s not only flashlights they sell. They have a huge variety of lights over there: boat lights, control lights, dive lights, military lights, and much much more. The company has a large inventory of their products that if an order is received before 4pm, central time, it will be shipped on the same day.
Magnalight’s professional grade flashlights make great gifts for men. Hubby might just find himself with a new flashlight! :)
