Motorized Ice Cream Cone
Do you like ice cream on a cone? Would you eat ice cream on a motorized cone?

I haven’t decided yet if I would. Hee hee. I’ll probably try it once and decide from there. Hee hee. ![]()

Surfin’ USA
My California-based cousins went surfing with a group of friends several weeks ago. I have just received the photos they sent via email. They are such surfer dudes and babes! What caught my attention though were the cool surfboard bags all of them seemed to have. When I asked about it, my simple question turned into Surfboard Bags 101. Hahaha! They all got their bags from, where else, The Surfboard Warehouse. I didn’t realize the bags fell into three categories: travel bags, day bags and board socks. Did you know that? And they come in sleek styles and cool colors. I’m kinda liking the silver ones though. I might just have to learn how to surf…if only for the bragging rights to carry a board…and the bag too! Hee hee! ![]()

TMA #5: Home Help
No, but that would be great! I really don’t see it happening though. It’s one of those things that, in our case, will fall under unnecessary expense. We’ll just spend the money on something else. ;) A Kitchen-Aid stand mixer perhaps? Or a deep fryer? Or a wet and dry vac? Whatever. Hee hee.
That my answer to: Do you have someone who comes in to clean? ![]()

Monitor Upgrade
I’m currently using a laptop computer, which runs a lot faster than my old laptop. Hubby uses a laptop but has an LCD monitor connected to it. Not fair! Hahaha! Well, I shouldn’t complain. He does the REAL work anyway. I would so love to upgrade my current computer monitor to an LCD. It doesn’t look like it’s going to happen anytime soon though. But I’m still looking around hoping to stumble upon a best buy.

Period Movies
Speaking of movies (my last entry having something to do with Indiana Jones) I happen to love period movies. I’m always left in awe of the very accurate details that go into such films, from the set to the props to the costumes. Don’t you just love the gorgeous costumes, where the ladies have to don a corset and lovely gowns and the men looking handsome in their equally detailed outfits? From the top of my head, my favorite period movies are Dangerous Liaisons, The Age of Innocence, Moulin Rouge, among others. What are yours?

Indiana Jones Meal
Indiana Jones will hit movie theaters on the 22nd of this month. I know and I’m sure I’ve seen Raiders of the Lost Ark, The Temple of Doom and The Last Crusade. But for the life of me, I can’t recall what these movies were all about. Hee hee! There’s one tiny detail I do recall though…in one of these 3 movies, there’s a scene where Indy and his companions were served soup and in the soup were eyeballs. Gross, yeah?
I think an Indy marathon is in order. I’m thinking of inviting my friends and their kids. And I’m sure the kids will get a kick out of this…

It’s a Chef Mario’s Dining Disasters Stretchghetti and Body Parts, another one of those crazy kitchen toys. It looks almost like real spaghetti but really icky to the touch, plus the eyeballs. But with the price tag at more or less $9? Forget it! We’ll probably just stick to the real deal, or just order pizza instead.

Carolina Colours
Hubby recently went on a business trip to North Carolina and he mentioned that the manager of the plant he visited, Jim, is saving up for a new home where he and his wife plan to retire. The couple is now looking into New Bern NC real estate. Jim was raving so much about New Bern that if he continued doing so for 5 more minutes, hubby would have been convinced that NC is the right place for us as well.
New Bern, I found out, is the 2nd oldest town in NC. It is perfect for people who want to be in place that is oozing with history and romance. My kind of place really…cobblestone sidewalks, quaint boutiques, art & antique shops, the real deal. :) But for now, hubby and I are just content in wishing Jim and his wife well on their home search.
