I am not crazy about motorcycles. I’ve never ridden on one and probably never will. But I do get that some people just absolutely love these two-wheeled machines and I respect that. Hubby has an Arizona-based male colleague who owns a Harley and whose wife does, too! Every year, husband and wife, together with their Harley buddies go on long rides.
I won’t be surprised if they went on Motorcycle Tours. There’s actually a company called Eaglerider, which pioneered the Harley-Davidson motorcycle rental concept and the motorcycle tour business. They offer a variety of tour packages, which include Guided Motor Cycle Tours, Self-Drive Tours and Adventure Tours. For the street, they not only rent out Harleys but Hondas and BMWs as well.
Their “fleet” is not limited to the street-types though. For the water, they have personal water crafts. For off-road adventures, there are dirt bikes and ATVs. In the winter, adventure seeking people can rent snowmobiles. Truly, Eaglerider understands the need of adventure loving, not to mention adventure seeking motorcycle enthusiasts. In the most desireable destinations around the world, one can be sure to find them offering one-way rentals as well as guided tours in between franchise rental facilities.
If you are off to one of these Motorcycle Tours, be sure to ride safely! And of course, enjoy your ride, too!

Do you prefer hot sandwiches or cold sandwiches?
I love sandwiches, so much so that it doesn’t matter whether they’re hot or cold. It just has to be chicken, turkey, tuna or veggie. Munch, munch!
What would you do if you were asked to relocate to another continent?
We did just that a little over a year ago! I psyched myself up to the new life we were to have, which made the adjustments and transition a lot smoother than I and every one else expected.
Would you ever steal something if you absolutely needed it to survive and no way to pay for it?
The operative word being “absolutely needed it to survive”. If it were my daughter’s survival that’s on the line, I just might. No explanation needed.
Be honest, do you think other people’s children are as cute as they do?
Heck, no! Hahaha. I shouldn’t be saying this because I only have one child right now and in the near future, Hubby and I probably would want to have another. So I’m changing my answer….of course, I do! ;) All children are cute!
Those are my answers.

A lot of people go on out-of-town and out-of-country vacation during summer. Based on our experience as exporters, the lean months for trade fairs are the summer months. That’s because a lot of our buyers, which are mostly from Europe, go on long holidays around this time.
My California-based aunt and uncle will also be going on a European cruise a few weeks from now. Since they will not be holed up in the cruise ship the entire time, I suggested they consider Argus Car Hire and just rent a car for the times they will be exploring their destination city/country. Between you and me, my aunt and uncle just absolutely hate walking! Cabs, in Europe specially, are just too expensive! It will definitely be more practical if they rent a car, specially since they will be travellig with another couple friend anyway. They can just split the rental fee, which shouldn’t cost too much because Argus has very competitive rates and they offer a number of great deals, too!
Will you be travelling some time soon, as well? The good news is, wherever you are destined for a summer holiday, chances are, there’s an Argus Car Hire at your destination. What wth over 450 car rental suppliers in over 12000 locations?! The best thing is that their rates are all inclusive and there are no hidden charges. That’s definitely worth taking into consideration when you finalize your vacation plans. Have a fun vacation and drive safely.

I have made banana choco chip muffins countless of times. But this latest batch tops ‘em all. Why? Because Abby, my almost 4-year old daughter actively participated in making them! This is our first kitchen project and definitely worth blogging about. Hee hee.
Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon baking sodia
1/2 teaspoon salt (We used sea salt.)
3 large bananas, mashed
3/4 cup white sugar
1/4 cup milk (We used light soy milk.)
1 egg
1/3 cup butter, melted
1/2 cup (or more!) semi-sweet chocolate chips

Procedure:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Coat muffin pans with non-stick spray or line with paper cups.

Line the muffin pan with paper cups.
2. Sift together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt; set aside.

Sift, sift, sift.
3. Combine bananas, sugar, egg, melted butter and chocolate chips in a large bowl.

Beat the eggs lightly.

Mix together the bananas, sugar, egg, butter and milk.
4. Fold in flour mixture, and mix until smooth.

The art of ingredient folding.
5. Scoop into muffin pans.
Optional: Lick the batter off the spatula and mixing bowl.

Go ahead, lick the batter off the spatula! ;)
6. Bake in preheated oven. Bake mini muffins for 10-15 minutes, and large muffins for 25-30 minutes. Muffins will spring back when lightly tapped.

The finished product.

Quality control
Easily, the best banana choco chip muffins that came out of our oven! Promise!
We did this on Friday. From chef, Abby became a “little mermaid” on Saturday and Sunday, my other WS entry. Visit other WS participants here.
Have an awesome week ahead!

We do our grocery shopping on the weekends. As much as I possibly can, I try to limit my trips to the grocery. Because the more trips I make, the more inclined I am to succumb to impulse buys. If I can help it, I’ll wait until I’ve used up whatever’s in the freezer for everyday meals. :D Are you anything like me? Oh and between you and me, lists just don’t quite work well with me.
Anyway, Friday is garbage disposal day. And the night before, I scour the fridge and pantry for food items that have already expired and leftovers, which we thought would get another chance at the dining table but didn’t quite make it. There were a few leftovers, some bottled items, a bit of veggies and a carton of whipped cream that had to be thrown away. I know, I know, what a waste! If only I can secure term life insurance…or “shelf life insurance” for that matter, for grocery items.
I’ve actually improved a lot already. :D I was a lot worse a year ago when I was still new in the business of stay-at-home-mommying. Hee hee.
Oh well, have a great weekend, y’all!
