Restaurant Discounts and Freebies
It’s raining freebies and discounts this week and I’m definitely not complaining! Last Wednesday, thanks to a most valuable tip from my friend, Chloe, I was able to enjoy a free veggie sub from Quiznos. I know, I know, I could have gotten a more loaded sub but I’m Catholic and Wednesday was Ash Wednesday, so… The free sub was part of a Quiznos promotion dubbed the Quiznos Million Sub Giveaway. Guess what! They’ve already reached the million mark so no more free subs. :D If you missed it, you can get yourself a free Sammie instead by signing up with the QClub. You’ll get a free cookie on your birthday as well. On a down economy, freebies are considered heaven-sent. ;)

Earlier today, I got a phone call from a dear friend. She tipped me that Restaurant.com is practically giving away restaurant gift certificates (GCs) to its members. Normally, $10 GCs can be bought at Restaurant.com for only $3, $25 GCs for $10 and $50 GCs for $20. There are conditions, of course, but still, that’s a savings of $7 right off the bat if you’re buying the $10 GC.
Back to the promotion, upto 11:59pm (PST) of Saturday, February 28, Restaurant.com is offering a savings of 80% off their already ridiculously low GC prices.
