Yoplait Less Sugar, More Fun Prize Pack Giveaway

I’ve always been very mindful of what I pack in my daughter’s lunch bag.  Her two years in pre-school gave me very good practice.  It was very challenging for the most part!  What I appreciated most was the no sweets rule.  Sweets of any kind, even chocolate milk, were not allowed except for the occasional birthday cupcakes.  Juices have to be 100% juice with no sugar added.  But what is a meal without dessert?  In addition to fruits, I almost always send yogurt in my daughter’s lunch bag.  One, she loves it.  Two, it is a very good source of nutrients.  Three, it is almost like ice cream. :D

That said, when I received an email from MyBlogSpark a few weeks ago for an opportunity to review Yoplait Kids, I accepted it right away.  In the first place, we already are buying Yoplait yogurts!  In a matter of days, I received a package in the mail, the Yoplait Less Sugar, More Fun Prize Pack…

The prize pack included a coupon for a Yoplait Kids yogurt, a travel cooler, a fun spoon that changes colors in warm water, a reusable place mat with games to keep the kids happy while snacking, and a fuzzy tangle puzzle for some after-snack fun.  How cool is that?

I’ve always loved yogurt and I’m happy my daughter got the yogurt-love gene as well.  All of us love Yoplait’s thick and creamy texture.  My little girl’s favorite flavors have always been strawberry, strawberry-vanilla and strawberry-banana.  The most surprising thing is that they’re not messy at all to eat because the yogurt practically coats the spoon and doesn’t drip.  Plus, it is a very good source of vitamins and nutrients including Vitamin D and calcium.  They also have no artificial sweeteners or flavors. Yoplait Kids has 25%  less sugar than the average leading kid’s yogurts.

So, would you like to try out Yoplait Kids and receive a prize pack?  If you answered yes, then you’re in luck!   All you have to do is join  my Yoplait Less Sugar, More Fun Prize Pack Giveaway!  I’m giving away two (2) prize packs, exactly like the one I received (refer to above photo).  To join the contest, just leave a comment answering this question:

How do you keep snack time healthy and fun for your kids?

The contest is open to everyone who has a valid US address (no PO boxes, please!).  I shall use Random.org to pick out the winners, who shall then be contacted by email.  Should the winners not respond within 48 hours, I will pick out new winners.  Fair enough?  The contest ends on Sunday, November 8th at 11:59pm, Pacific time.

Good luck!

We cut fruit into shapes and dip it into yogurt. I also let the boys help to make it.

Hi Weng! Again, you should be awarded as “Mom of the Year”. With the eagerness to share all tips for the good of “womankind” (in your honour ;) ) no one can surpass you…

So how do I keep snacktime healthy and fun for my kids? I try to put colors and shape in ther food… which I have done only recently. I try to give them fresh fruits and drinks, bhenever I buy their food/snacks/drinks, i also try to read the info/nutrition label… it should be 100% juice, no sugar added… those with unavoidable sugar, I try to give them as occasional treats, or on special occasions… but nobody’s perfect… so sometimes, i am guilty of slipping off from this rule… but to a minimum if it happens ;)

How do i keep snack time healthy for kids? I dont have kids yet bu with the meals we prepare at home wei enjoy making shapes and putting different colors to the food less sugar the better since we have a diabetes history. yogurt will always be a healthy choice. Its a challenge to make snack time so appealing to kids but then its never going to be impossible!

Hi Shasha! Thank you for leaving a comment and congratulations on winning! Please do get in touch with me right away. I already sent you an email. I have to submit the winning names/addresses all at one time.

I’m glad you finally de-lurked yourself. :) Thank you for taking time out to read about my food adventures. I took cake decorating lessons and I think it helped a lot that I have a strong foundation in the field of art and design. ;) But anyone can decorate a cake! We all just need a little push. Check out the Michael’s outlet nearest your home and ask about their Wilton cake decorating classes. :)

Keeping snack time healthy and appealing at the same can really be challenging. But you’re right, it is not impossible! :)

Whenever possible, i get my son involved. First, I let him pick his choices of fruits, veggies, yogurt flavors, etc. in the grocery. Then he helps me with the preparation/cooking. Lastly, I set a good example by also eating healthy snacks. ;)

Hi Alet! Thanks for leaving a comment. :) Involving the kids in healthy food choices is good practice. But setting a good example is the hardest part. Kudos to you! ;)

Kids love to snack! Aside from the tried-and-true typical snacks for kids. They usually pick
Yogurt and Yakult for their daily energy drinks. Then at home, we make veggie, cheese and
    fruit cut-outs with a dip.
