Eggciting!
Last month, I received an email from Foodbuzz, which had the best greeting ever, “Congratulations! You’ve won a year’s supply of eggs from Eggland’s Best!” A year’s supply of eggs! Yipeee! With the amount of cooking and baking that I do, I could definitely use some free eggs…a year’s worth! Yeah! Since that day I received the eggciting email, I’ve been looking forward to receiving my prize.
On June 12th, my prize finally arrived.

For almost a month, I wondered exactly how much exactly is a year’s supply of eggs, I don’t have to wonder anymore…

26 dozens! Is it safe to say now that the average family consumed 2.1 dozen eggs a month? Hee hee. Hubby was joking about preferring to receive egg-laying chickens instead of coupons. Each coupon is worth upto $4.29. So yes, we’re buying the most expensive dozen Eggland’s best eggs our coupons can buy in the supermarket. ;)
If winning a year’s supply of eggs can get me this EGGcited, I could only imagine how I’d feel if I won the lotto, or something with a lower ticket like a rustic furniture showcase for all the rooms in our house. *sighs dreamily*
Here’s the Eggland’s Best Egg Pie recipe that won me my year’s supply of eggs. :) I have 3 dozen eggs in the fridge right now. I’m itching to do something with them. ;)
Y’all have a great weekend!
