This is Truluck’s Grilled Day Boat Halibut, served with chive compound butter, Truluck’s signature parmesan mashed potatoes and braised WILD mushrooms. I was hoping I have wild rice photos in my photo archives but no such look. These wild mushrooms should be good enough. Hee hee.

I have Wildlife for my other PH entry. Feel free to take a look when you have time. :) Visit other Photo Hunters here.

Raisins. I love these little wrinkled sweet things. I use these for baking and cooking. Unfortunately, Hubby doesn’t like raisins in everyday dishes and baked goodies. Hee hee. He’ll patiently pick them out. But he’ll eat these straight out of the box. Go figure! A small box makes for a healthy snack or a sweet fix, something you can easily pop in your mouth after working out on a fitness equipment.

Have a wonderful weekend!

I had to double check if the photo I intended to use for this week’s Photo Hunt theme hasn’t been use in any one of my previous Photo Hunt entries yet. Well, I’ve used it all right, but not on this site. ;) That means, I can very well recycle it. And here it is…

How’s that for color? :D These are like kiss-shaped M&Ms. The colors are so vibrant these sweet treats could very well double as a fashion designer’s color pallette, say, Oscar de la Renta, for example. :) Since I’ve already recycled one photo, I might as well recycle one more…

Are you in the mood for candy bowling? Hee hee!
I have coloful pics from Universal Studios Hollywood here, my other Photo Hunt entry. Visit other photo hunters here.
Have colorful weekend!

Clouds most often look like cottonballs. Is it right to say then that cotton balls look like clouds? What about cotton candy? Now those are the sweetest clouds!

I have another Photo Hunt entry HERE, the real deal. ;) Check out other PH participants here.
Have a great weekend!

I wasn’t able to do some photo hunting for two consecutive weeks. Well, I’m back. ;) Hee hee! This week’s theme was quite a challenge for me, primarily because I’m only getting over my vacation hang-over (Oh please, it’s been a week already!) and I didn’t want another kitchen nightmare (see my entry for Photo Hunt: Pointed) pic. :) Anyway, I was positively sure I had an appropriate pic buried somewhere deep in my food pics archives. And I was right!…

…noodles hanging from chopsticks! Woohoo! ;) Hubby almost always orders “ramen” from Musashino, one of our favorite Japanese restaurants. See the bowl? It’s outrageously huge! I haven’t ever tried ordering one for myself because the noodles are sooo good I’m quite sure I’ll be able to finish the entire bowl…noodles, veggies, meat, soup and all! I bet I’d feel overly guilty that I might just end up reading diet pill reviews. But nah! I’m way past feeling guilty over overeating. I need entries for this food blog! Hahaha!
I have another hanging entry HERE. Visit other photo hunters here.
Have a great weekend, y’all!

Guess what this is…

It’s friends with this…

Give up? These photos are dead giveaways…

They’re pancakes. :D I made them upon the request of my daughter on the morning of last Wednesday. Of course, Abby didn’t request that they look like amebas. My pancakes don’t usually come out looking like such a disaster. Hee hee. The oil in the pan proved to be a little too hot resulting to POINTED-edged pancakes. :D To salvage the situation, I got my trusty food markers and did what I can do to at least, uhm, make the pancakes look nicer.

My daughter, Abby. Nothing and no one could be brighter…literally and figuratively.
