What is your preferred type of sugar?
It depends. For baking, I used regular white sugar or brown sugar, depending on which of the two the recipe calls for. For coffee, I use Splenda but I do prefer regular sugar. I will have to train myself to start liking and using honey more often as a sweetener. I hear that’s a healthier alternative. But I could be wrong.

What are your final words for the month of July?
Dear July, thank you for being the awesome month that you’ve been. You totally rocked! :) Then again, you’ve always been special to me because you’re my birth month. This month has been filled with wonderful memories, and that’s speaking for my entire family. I could only look forward to an equally awesome if not better July in 2009. Cheers!

What three random things did you do this weekend?
Friday, we had dinner at a Japanese restaurant, the name of which I couldn’t even remember because we don’t plan on returning to the place anytime soon. We had dessert at a placed called Viva Chocolato where hubby and I shared a slice of cake called Ebony and Ivory, while Abby had a scoop of strawberry ice cream. Saturday, we stayed home for most of the day and bought take out lunch of Stir Fried Shrimp and Asparagus at the neighborhood Chinese restaurant.
That’s my answer.
Okay, so we are pretty much split for cooking on the grill, gas or charcoal. What about indoor cooking? Gas or electric?
Gas, definitely! For one, the stove our leased home is furnished with works on gas. Second, with the amount of home cooking that we do, going electric will prove to be impractical. That’s money we’d much rather spend on airconditioning instead! Hee hee. Lastly, for as long as I can remember, we’ve always used gas for indoor cooking.

What three words (food) do you think of when I say fluffy?
1. frosting/cream (whipped)
2. cotton candy
3. eggs (beaten egg whites)
That’s my answer.
Do you prefer hot sandwiches or cold sandwiches?
I love sandwiches, so much so that it doesn’t matter whether they’re hot or cold. It just has to be chicken, turkey, tuna or veggie. Munch, munch!
What would you do if you were asked to relocate to another continent?
We did just that a little over a year ago! I psyched myself up to the new life we were to have, which made the adjustments and transition a lot smoother than I and every one else expected.
Would you ever steal something if you absolutely needed it to survive and no way to pay for it?
The operative word being “absolutely needed it to survive”. If it were my daughter’s survival that’s on the line, I just might. No explanation needed.
Be honest, do you think other people’s children are as cute as they do?
Heck, no! Hahaha. I shouldn’t be saying this because I only have one child right now and in the near future, Hubby and I probably would want to have another. So I’m changing my answer….of course, I do! ;) All children are cute!
Those are my answers.
What kind of eggs do you use?
We use extra large grade A (chicken) eggs. I know, I should be using organic eggs. :D And I do, every once in a while. We also buy salted duck eggs, which is perfect dipping sauce when mixed with some sliced tomatoes and paired with good Filipino favorites like danggit and garlic fride rice. Yum!
